It's great for mutual funds because they offer a lot of no-fee funds. So, it's a good place to park some cash, but wouldn't recommend it to someone who makes a lot of trades.

Also, for OTC stocks, you have to get their SafePass card to trade. It was free to do when I did it and I believe it still is. Just keep in mind it isn't the same SafePass card that they offer for regular bank accounts, which they charge about 20 bucks for.

Too much, its $10 if you have a checking account with them (which i do), but $14 if you don't and they'll charge maintenence fees if you don't have a checking account too. Their research stuff/charts are mediocre. I'm switching to sogotrade for their $3 trades. I know they have no research tools, so I'll just keep my BOA account open to use for that stuff.

My Bank of America investment account is showing .143, but that is after a -.0018 "after hour" settlement. I know this doesn't trade after hours and its just a trade from during the day that hadn't settled, but the bid/ask is being shown as .143x.144, so i dunno...

not necessarily, all the shorts would have to buy shares on the open market to give to the people they "borrowed" the shares from. As for the NSS, I'm not sure. I think it would be a good situation for people who are long.

maybe in a very long term scenario...SPNG right now has flawless financials and great marketing strategy...the 10K is due before the end of the month and should clear up questions about the current share structure. people also believe there is a large number of naked short sale positions that could cause a short squeeze when the 10K is released.

i did the EXACT same as you...bought at .01 after i lost money on it weeks ago, thinking it may be turning around...went up .0001 after i bought and never saw anything higher...just a complete piece of garbage stock and company... took the loss at .0092

well...doesn't it hafta be over a certain % of the total shares in order to be on the REG SHO? does this give us any clues as to share structure? or does the SEC just go with the last known share structure?

So it sounds to me like it's more a threat than actual enforcement if I understand correctly what you're saying. I guess it is good news for long positions no matter how you look at it (prevents more shorts to some extent and MAYBE closes out some NSS's). Too bad that 13th day couldn't come on the same day the 10K in released with positive news on share structure and earnings. Would cause complete chaos, while I'd be sitting back and enjoying every second of it.

I know that after 13 days they will close out the failed-to-deliver positions...is this done through a clearing house that buys at market value and charges the position holders??? if so, are we going to see a price runup/short squeeze???

GTC Sell Limit at whatever price you want, doesn't sell unless it strikes that price...or you cancel it.
