What to do with a strange icon from Barrows? ›

It can only be obtained from the chest after defeating all six Barrows brothers, and is given to the Strange Old Man to complete the miniquest. Looting the icon while not having enough inventory space will cause the icon to be destroyed, and you essentially have to restart the quest in order to obtain another.

The reward potential gathered is equal to the combat level of the monster that was slain, capped for a total of 1,000. For every Barrows brother that was slain, the player will receive an extra 2 points on their rewards potential, capping the maximum reward potential at 1,012.
