Service can't be beat! by spfauspfau

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple

Cabin 7004 is fantastic. As a "family cabin", it is available to any size party approximately 2-3 months prior to sailing. Located all the way forward, it is near the theater and far from dining. The cabin is far more spacious than normal cabins below the suite level.

It was an OK cruise by viking53

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Jewel of the Seas / Destination: Europe - Western Europe

Great room for the 3 of us. It's designed for a group up to 6. Our daughter had her own "room" (small enclosure covered by a curtain), and she loved having the privacy. Had some issues with the shower and water heat, but it was resolved.

A Long Cruise... But Worth It! by bamksm22

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Jewel of the Seas / Destination: Panama Canal, Central America

This cabin is huge and a great value for the dollar spent. It is at the front of the ship, overlooking the helipad. We were not bothered by the motion of the ocean. However, BEWARE! There is what sounded like a crew work room located directly below. All was quiet at night but during the day banging, scraping, drilling, and dragging noises could be heard. It was enough to be noticed and distracting. If you want a more quiet experience book another cabin. If you want suite-like room for an ocean view price, this is the ticket.

Great Trip by queenbee2u2

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Jewel of the Seas / Destination: Panama Canal, Central America

Loved the size of this room. It was the perfect room for viewing the Panama Canal. The bed was very comfortable and so much floor space. The room was spotless and well taken care of by our room server. Only thing I have a problem with was the lighting by the desk, way too dark.

Some speed bumps but overall great cruise experience by LSN

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Jewel of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

Pull out sofa is too small and short for older kids. Would be great for kids under 12. The room is a perfect family state room for a larger family, however, it is best if younger children are in the party to sleep on the pull out sofa, which is more like a pull out futon. Pillows were VERY flat and needed to be replaced on beds. The beds and 2 bunks in that cabin were surprisingly comfortable. We ended up moving to side by side ocean view cabins on deck 4 that suited our family better. Our girls were much happier with those beds. They are both tall and did not fit comfortably on the pull out sofa. Our two boys (also tall) had the bunks in the family cabin. Kudos to Royal Caribbean for finding alternative accomodations that suited our family better.
